NAME: 'North American Soccer League' (NASL).
HISTORY: A professional football league with teams
from the U.S.A. and Canada, founded in 1968 with the merger of                                                         the 'United Soccer Association' (founded in 1966) and the ' National                                                         Professional Soccer League' (founded in 1967).                                                         TEAM AMERICA: Was composed of players of various nationalities                                                         who were playing with the 'North American Soccer League' clubs,                                                         including such star veterans as Pele (Brazil), Chinaglia (Italy),                                                         Moore (England), Mifflin (Peru) and England (Wales).
